Christmas In The Philippines...............

Puto, bibingka, simbang-gabi and house-to-house caroling-these are the things that can be easily notice when Christmas comes here in the Philippines. Celebrating Christmas here is totally different from other country.
Some of the differences  are the simbang-gabi, puto, and bibingka ( I mentioned earlier). Even the globe is going modern, there are still people which remains to be religious. Some these people are the Filipinos. Young and adult goes to church at the dawn of Dec.16-24 every year. this is one the traditions which is still practiced now. It's called "simbang-gabi". When you attend this mass, you shouldn't miss the yummy kakanin. after the solemn mass, people lined up to buy puto and bibingka with matching hot coffee. You're not only spiritually satisfied but your stomach is also satisfied! so see you tommorow in the church! Another difference is the house-to-house caroling. Children and feeling children ( adult! hehehehe) are singing some joyful Christmas songs in exchange for penny. But what differs the most is the atmosphere of Christmas. Here, we celebrate Christmas with our loved ones. And even we have a mountain of problem, we still celebrate Christ's birth and be thankful to him because he has come in our lives. filipinos doesn't ask much for this event. just a complete family, be thankful to God and spread the love would be enough.
MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
